Justin Park released his newest album, I Can See the Stars from Here, on May 13th, two years after his debut album, Places Like Home. Not that I was counting. And it wasn’t like the twenty-six-year-old has been sitting at home, waiting for the pandemic to end like everyone else. Instead, Park has been releasing singles, collaborating with artists like Ted Park, and constantly working on his craft. This album reflects that.
The twelve-track album has his previously released singles like “Bay To The City,” “You Don’t Know,” and “Mi Vida,” along with unreleased songs like the 80s synth vibe “Fleur” and personal favorite “Promises.” On the album, Park breaks down a variety of topics that everyone can relate to, from relationship trouble to finding new love to just hanging with the homies.
Justin Park will be joining Social House for the second part of their tour, “And We Never Saw It Coming,” so head to his Facebook page for more information.
