One of my favorite things in K-pop is getting to see the various music show performances. Each time an artist releases a new song, there’s a chance they might showcase and promote it on music shows. For example, THE BOYZ recently had a comeback this month with their 6th mini album [THRILL-ING], and they have been promoting their title song "THRILL RIDE" on the music shows. Although they are only promoting one song, it is always great to watch them perform. Plus, it gives fans a chance to practice the fanchants and also to see the different concept outfits.

There are 6 different music shows: THE SHOW, Show Champion, M COUNTDOWN, Music Bank, Show! Music Core, and Inkigayo. These music shows are broadcasted weekly from Tuesday to Sunday, respectively. The music shows are also hosted by special MCs. For instance, THE SHOW’s MCs are WEi Yohan, Weeekly Jihan, and ATEEZ's Yeosang, and Show Champion’s MCs are VERIVERY's Kangmin, ASTRO's Moonbin, and ASTRO's Sanha. The MCs sometimes perform special stages for the show, and one very popular performance is the "Dolphin" and "Run Away" stage by Music Bank’s MCs Soobin (TOMORROW X TOGETHER) and Arin (Oh My Girl).

Music shows are a great way to watch your favorite artists perform and to also discover new music. If you’re interested in learning more about the music shows, be sure to check out their social media!
